Jan Denson is the officer of the Restitution Recovery Department. She is responsible for collection of overdue fines, court costs, and victim compensation. Court ordered fines are due within 90 days of a guilty plea or conviction.
If the money is not paid in that time frame, it will be turned over to our Restitution Recovery Department for collection. This Department has the authority to make payment arrangements and also to move for issuance of a contempt of court warrant for the arrest of the defendant.
You must come to our office once you receive a letter from the Restitution Recovery Department. At this time you can sign a payment agreement for monthly payments. You may download the Information Sheet and have it completed before coming to our office.
